What we see on an everyday basis...
SIGNS:
WONDERS:
This is our friendly neighborhood donkey (that wakes us up occasionally).
The wallas...they sell everything from fruit and vegetables to potted plants. They come a calling every morning with a very distinct, perfected call of their own. It's worse than the donkey.
There are many modes of transportation.

Seeing familiar faces and riding elephants
HAPPY 2008, friends! Can you believe another year has come and gone? I can't really, but it has been encouraging to think on all that the Father has done this past year. At this time last year, I was beginning the process that brought me to this side of the world. Little did I know, I was in for an adventure!
Speaking of adventures...for the first week of 2008 I was fortunate to travel to Nepal. "Breathtaking" is about the only word that I can use to describe the country. We spent most of the week in the southern jungle of the country, retreating and enjoying the scenery. We rode some elephants on a safari and saw rhinos, crocs and more. In the distance, we could see the majesty of the Himalayas. For the latter part of the trip, we went to Kathmandu, the capital city, for some great shopping and even some terrific Mexican food.
Perhaps the best part of the trip was reuniting with old friends from the farm (VA) and my dear friend Stefanie from college. Stef and I spent the week catching up and reminiscing about all the Father has done in our lives since our friendship began on the 3rd floor of Church Hall our freshman year at UGA. We kept thanking Him for allowing us to share some of the most influential and stretching times of our lives with each other. As CT said, "It's so beautiful. His plans are always beautiful."
Enjoy some pictures.

3. Me and Kacie at The Lazy Gringo Mexican restaurant...boy, were we excited!
